Lea Harrison is the visionary founder and Strategic Advisor at Pathways to Wellness, LLC, established in 2021. Over the past 20 years, Lea has amassed extensive experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including inpatient psychiatry, intensive outpatient treatment, adult residential care for addiction and recovery, detoxification, memory care, assisted living, and home care/hospice.
In her distinguished career, Lea also served as the Deputy Cabinet Secretary at the New Mexico Department of Health, where she oversaw the operation of the state's eight healthcare facilities. Her work spans public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on the diverse challenges and opportunities within the healthcare industry. Lea is a certified crisis intervention instructor, a virtual dementia instructor, and a registered lobbyist in the state of New Mexico.
Lea’s professional expertise is deeply informed by her own lived experience with behavioral health challenges, giving her unique insight and empathy that enrich her work. This perspective allows her to approach systems improvement and patient care with authenticity, compassion, and a deep understanding of the barriers individuals face in accessing meaningful treatment.
Lea's commitment to leadership and team building is evident through the variety of leadership roles she has undertaken throughout her career. She is dedicated to fostering strong, cohesive teams that can deliver exceptional care, driving her passion for leadership development.
She has also served on the NAMI New Mexico Board of Directors, NAMI Albuquerque Board of Directors, and the Mental Health Response Advisory Committee, which provided guidance to the City of Albuquerque Police Department by analyzing and recommending appropriate changes to policies, procedures, and training methods regarding police contact with persons experiencing a mental health crisis. Her involvement in these organizations demonstrates her dedication to mental health advocacy and community engagement.

Drawing from her rich background, Lea has witnessed firsthand the effective practices and the pitfalls within the field. Her goal is to leverage this knowledge to help healthcare providers enhance their services and ensure the highest quality of care for those they serve.
Jessica Laurino brings over a decade of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, and trauma-informed care to her role as Clinical Consultant at Pathways to Wellness, LLC. Originally from New York, Jessica completed her education in Social Work before relocating to the Southwest, where she is now independently licensed in both New Mexico and Colorado.
Jessica is deeply committed to increasing access to high-quality, recovery-oriented care in underserved communities. Her career spans diverse clinical settings, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, private group practices, and military installations. She has provided individual, group, and family therapy for clients navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, always grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed practices.
As a Clinical Director, Jessica led the development of clinical programming, supervised multidisciplinary teams, and conducted trainings to improve treatment quality and team cohesion. Her leadership experience and deep understanding of New Mexico’s recovery landscape led to her recruitment as Program Manager for the ADAPT (Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment) program at Kirtland Air Force Base. In that role, she provided direct care to service members, offered education around substance use recovery, and served as a liaison to treatment programs throughout the region.
Jessica has also served as a clinical consultant to the State of New Mexico, helping design and implement programming and training to elevate the standard of care for co- occurring treatment. Her work focused on strengthening documentation practices, aligning services with best practices, and preparing programs for Joint Commission accreditation.
Her clinical orientation incorporates Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Seeking Safety—all delivered through a holistic, trauma-informed lens. Jessica is passionate about creating spaces that foster healing, growth, and authenticity, and she remains dedicated to building programs that combine clinical excellence with inclusion and accessibility.
